We’re Just Getting Started – Here’s How to Join the Conversation on UnitedInTalk

Welcome to UnitedInTalk!
As our community begins to grow, I want to thank our early users for taking the initiative to join the conversation and help build a better America. During our launch phase, it might be a bit challenging to find active conversations right away—but don’t worry. We’ve put together a quick guide to help you connect with others and get the most out of your experience on UnitedInTalk!

🔍 How Matching Works

Getting started is easy. When you sign up, you’ll fill out a short profile that includes your political interests and general views. The app uses this info to help pair you with someone who’s either aligned with your beliefs—or someone with a contrasting perspective, depending on your preferences.

You'll also have access to a matching filter, which allows you to narrow down the types of users you’re paired with. However, the fewer modifications you make to the filter, the better your chances of finding a match quickly—especially while the community is still growing. As we grow, more options will become available on the filter!

To help kick things off, members of the UnitedInTalk team will occasionally be in the queue to make sure you have someone to connect with during these early stages.

Once matched, you'll be put into into a live, one-on-one voice chat. These conversations are designed to be civil, constructive, and centered on understanding.

⏰ Best Times to Match

Since UnitedInTalk is primarily used in the United States, your best chance to get a quick match is between 11:00 AM and 11:00 PM EST. This is when most users are active and ready to talk. If you're trying to match outside of those hours, you may experience a delay or fewer matches available.

🤝 Help Us Grow the Movement

The strength of UnitedInTalk comes from its community—and that means you. Here’s how you can help us expand:

  • Share the website with friends, family, and coworkers. Encourage them to join conversations that matter.

  • Post about your experience on Reddit, Twitter/X, Facebook, or Instagram. Let others know what it’s like to talk politics without the drama.

  • Invite others directly from the app with a share link, making it easy for new users to jump in.

The more people we bring into the conversation, the stronger and more diverse the dialogue becomes.
